Project Info:

The project called for the construction of a bespoke 67m Pedestrian and Cycle bridge, spanning the River Lee in the heart of the vibrant Cork City. This new bridge is a key pillar of the Cork City development plan to promote more sustainable pedestrian traffic around the city. The bridge, by conservative estimates, is used by 11,000 people daily and is the first new bridge over the River Lee in over a decade. The bridge was constructed off site and transported by barge in to the heart of Cork City, where it was lifted into place by 2 cranes on the 18th of May.
